Refund Policy

EV Ambient Works
Effective date: 11/21/2025

EV Ambient Works provides mobile interior ambient lighting installation services, primarily for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in Greater Los Angeles. Because our work is a time-based, on-site service, and not a simple shippable product, all completed services are non-refundable.

1. No Refunds on Completed Services

Once an installation has been completed and payment has been made, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for labor, travel, or parts once the service has been performed, whether or not you continue to use the installed lighting or later decide to remove it.

2. Quality Concerns and Fixes

We want the installation itself to be done properly. If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship (for example, loose trim, visible wiring, or non-functioning zones that appear related to the install), you must contact us within 7 days of the service date. At our discretion, we may offer to inspect the vehicle and attempt to correct installation-related issues at no additional labor charge.
This does not include changes in preference (e.g., you no longer like the look, color, brightness, or style of the lighting) or damage caused after the install by third parties, further modifications, accidents, or misuse.

3. Defective Products or Parts

We generally use third-party lighting kits and components that we consider to be good quality for the intended use, but we do not manufacture these products. Any product defects (such as controller failures or LED failures unrelated to installation) are subject to the manufacturer’s or seller’s policies, not ours. We do not provide refunds for defective products; however, we can, at our discretion, assist you with documentation or basic guidance if you choose to pursue a warranty or return with the original seller (for example, Amazon or the kit brand).

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Because we drive to you and block time for each appointment, we ask that you notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you repeatedly cancel at short notice or are not available when we arrive, we may decline future bookings. If we ever choose to take a deposit in the future, cancellation rules for that deposit will be clearly explained at the time of booking.
